The first two are cheap and work quietly. The last two are powerful but hard to choose in the moment. Skipping the first two and relying on "I will exclude myself if it gets bad" means, in practice, having set nothing up.
Two effects worth knowing
Losses dressed up as wins. When a round returns 40 cents on a €1 stake, that is a loss — celebrated with animation and a winning sound. Across a session it shifts the remembered balance upward. The counter: read the balance, not the animation.
No time cue. No clock, no window, no end of chapter. Turnover is stake times number of spins, and that number grows with time. The mandatory session reminder is the one interface feature that pushes back.
