How to read win reports

A win report says something about one evening and nothing about the next. What it proves and what it omits can be separated.
What a win report proves
It proves that a given amount was paid out once. Nothing more — and that is not a quibble, it is the whole point. A report of a €200,000 win is not an argument for a game, because it says nothing about the distribution: how many players staked how much over the same period for that single payout to exist?
That second number is never included. It is, however, the only one that would turn a report into a statement about chances.
Why this editorial team publishes no player stories
Invented testimonials with names, ages and professions are common in this industry. We do not publish them: a story that cannot be checked is worth nothing to the reader, and one that is invented is worth less than nothing. What can be checked instead are figures from the info panel and from published terms.

That is why jackpot games often feel "drier" day to day: part of the return has been shifted into a rare large win. It is neither an advantage nor a disadvantage — it is a different distribution of the same rate.
The test for any report
- Does it say how much was staked in total? Almost never.
- Is the person verifiable or anonymised? Anonymous is honest; an invented name is not.
- Does the report end in a recommendation? If so, it is advertising.
